when I first started my hairdressing career I knew I was passionate about extensions, I loved them! I trained in extensions 18 years ago as soon as I had enough money saved to do a course, and i’ve been doing as many heads of hair extensions I could get my hands on ever since!

there was always something that bothered me though, they weren't suitable for everyone,

I’m so passionate about extensions because I love the instant transformation they give and the huge confidence boost that comes with it, having always had super fine hair myself and worn hair extensions from the age of 18, I know first hand how they completely change how you feel, so it seemed really unfair that some of my clients that would truly benefit from them the most couldn’t have them.

enter Mesh integration! this absolutely life changing service makes extensions suitable for so many more clients and its the best feeling in the world getting to do that everyday and call it work.

chic manes was born out of the struggle to find good quality and a variety of products to perform these services, I couldn’t get the colours of closures I wanted, or when I could find them they were from overseas and would take weeks to get here and delivery fees were huge! then on top of that I couldn’t get everything of high quality from one supplier so I was paying even more postage fees for closures and mesh from one place, tools from another and wefts from somewhere else it was really pushing up the price of my services and lowering my profits, plus it was unreliable as I didn’t know when things would turn up.

this is why we created chic manes, everything in one place, big variety and tried and tested quality loved by our clients
